Delhi Public School

Being over here on Beach Road is pretty nice, though the salt air does a number on the paint at 4-70-7. Delhi Public School is tucked into Lawsons Bay Colony, and most of the time you can feel a bit of a breeze from the ocean. It’s a big building, and there are always kids coming and going through the gates of Visakhapatnam. We have a lot of rooms to keep track of, and sometimes it feels like we are constantly sweeping sand out of the hallways. The 530017 area is busy, so mornings are usually a bit of a scramble with buses and parents dropping off their kids. We don't do anything too fancy here. It's just a lot of desks, some old maps on the walls, and teachers trying to get through the curriculum. We have a playground that gets a lot of use, and the grass is always a bit patchy because of the heat. It’s a decent place to work, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We spend our days making sure the kids are where they should be and that the bells ring on time. It isn't a perfect setup, but it’s ours. We just keep the doors open and do the best we can with what we have. People know where to find us if they need anything. We focus on the everyday stuff that keeps a school going.
