Vengamamba Bricks

We’ve got our setup at Pl.No. 76-14-226 A, right on Kanakadurgamma Street in Bhavanipuram. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but once you get here, it makes sense. The area is mostly residential and small businesses like ours. Vengamamba Bricks has been part of this neighborhood for a good while. The yard is where we spend most of our hours, moving bricks around and making sure everything is stacked right. It’s heavy work, but we’re used to it. The street can get a bit narrow when the big lorries try to turn in, so we have to help guide them sometimes. We don't have any polished sales pitch. If someone needs bricks, they come to the gate and we talk. It’s as simple as that. Most of our days are spent out in the sun, so we’re all pretty tanned and tired by evening. We keep a small shed for the paperwork and to stay out of the rain. There’s usually some tea going on the stove in the corner. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just want to make sure the bricks we provide are solid and that we treat people fairly when they walk through the gate. It’s a local business run by local people who know the value of a hard day’s work. We plan on staying on Kanakadurgamma Street for a long time yet. There is always plenty to keep us busy here.
