Kolikondas Fly Ash Bricks Industry

We set up our brick industry out on Madhira Road in Siripuram. It’s a bit of a trek from the main town center, but we needed the space for the machinery and the drying racks. Making fly ash bricks is pretty much all we do from sunrise to sunset. The address is Dr.No.4-95-6, which is easy enough to find once you get on the right road. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping an eye on the mixers. We have a small group of guys who have been with us for a while now. We’re not really into the whole big business vibe. We’re just local people making something that’s needed for all the new houses going up around here. The dust can be a bit much on windy days, but we’re used to it. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our day is spent outdoors or in the shed where the main press is. We talk to the truck drivers, check the quality of the batches, and try to make sure we don't run out of raw materials. It’s a steady kind of life. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them ourselves. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small plant like this in Siripuram. Anyway, we just keep going and hope for good weather so the bricks dry fast.
