Our saloon is located at Shop No 75-6-70 on Masjid Street in the Bhavanipuram area. If you are near Swathi Theatre in Vijayawada, you are basically right there. It is a busy little street and there is always some noise from the traffic and the shops nearby. We have been working out of this space for some time now. Inside, there are chairs for hair cutting and a few mirrors on the walls. It is a unisex place, so we see everyone from the neighborhood. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the street, but other days we are on our feet from morning until we close. The light inside isn't always perfect but it works for us. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just cut hair and do beauty stuff for the people who live around Bhavanipuram. The shop has a tiled floor that we sweep up a lot. We have our regulars who come in every few weeks and we know exactly how they like things. It is just a local business trying to keep things going. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the stuff we need to work. Being near the theatre means there are always people walking past our door. We just stay busy with our scissors and combs and try to keep the place tidy. That is all there is to it.
