Thulasi Herbals & Beauty Parlour

We are located at 39-10-25 on Water Tank Road in Labbipet. Andhra Bank is right beside us, which makes it very simple for people to find the parlour. Vijayawada gets extremely hot, so the shop is a bit of a relief from the sun. I spend my time mixing the herbal pastes and keeping the bowls clean. The smell of dried leaves and oils is always present inside. It is a ladies' place where things are kept quite private. The curtains are thick enough to keep the light out when someone is relaxing. We have a few chairs and a small area for washing hair. The water tank is nearby so we never really run out of water for the sinks. I try to keep the magazines updated, but sometimes they get a bit old. The floor is tiled and I spend a lot of time mopping it because of the mud people bring in during the rainy season. It is a practical business and I don’t try to make it look like something it isn’t. We use simple herbal ingredients that I often prepare myself in the back. Most of the women who visit are regulars who live just down the road. They come in to get away from their chores for an hour. It is a steady routine that I have followed for many years now. The bank next door always has people coming and going.
