Srija Beauty Parlour

Srija Beauty Parlour is located at 21-1-15 on AS Raju Street in the Mutyalammapadu area of Vijayawada. If you find the road opposite Durga Super Market, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a busy little street and we’ve been part of it for a good while. I spend most of my days here in the shop, waiting for customers and working on whatever they need. We do a lot of bridal work and regular beauty stuff like facials and threading. The shop has a big glass door that lets in some light, but I usually keep the curtains half-drawn so people inside have some privacy. Vijayawada gets very hot, so the AC is usually running, even if it makes a bit of a humming sound. I have a few assistants who help me out during the wedding season when things get really crazy. We have piles of magazines for people to look at while they wait, though most people just stay on their phones these days. The walls are painted a light color, and I’ve put up some pictures of the work we’ve done over the years. It’s not a corporate chain or anything like that, just a local parlor where I know most of the customers by name. We just try to get the work done right so people come back next month. It’s a simple way to make a living and I enjoy being my own boss.
