Scissors Magic Salon

The shop is located at 49-1-35 on Eluru Road, right in the Gunadala area of Vijayawada. If you look across the street, you can see Devineni Nehru House. Scissors Magic Salon is a busy little spot. We spend our time cutting hair and chatting with people who live around here. The street outside is always noisy with buses and bikes, but inside it is mostly the sound of clippers and the hair dryer. We didn't want a place that felt too stiff or formal. It's just a room with some good chairs and lights where we do our work. People come in for a quick trim or sometimes something more. We see all kinds of faces throughout the week. Some days the place is packed and people have to stand near the door. We try to keep things simple. There are no corporate rules here, just a bunch of us who know how to use a pair of scissors. The mirrors are old but they show everything clearly. We drink a lot of coffee while we work. In the evenings, the lights on Eluru Road get bright and we finish up the last few clients. It is a good way to earn a living in a city like Vijayawada. Most people know us by name now. It feels right to be part of the neighborhood. We stay open until late to catch the office crowd.
