Ramesh Hair Style

Ramesh Hair Style has been a part of the Krishna Lanka area in Vijayawada for quite some years now. You can find us over in Ramalingeswara Nagar, which is a busy little pocket of the city. My shop is not one of those expensive places with reclining leather chairs and expensive coffee. It is just a simple barber shop with the basics. I have a few good chairs, some sharp scissors, and mirrors that have seen a lot of faces. I started this because I learned the trade from my uncle and I wanted to stay in my own neighborhood. Every morning I open up the shutters and sweep out the hair from the day before. The traffic outside can get pretty loud, but once you are in the chair, it is just about the haircut. I get all sorts of people coming in, from young kids getting ready for school to old men who have lived in Vijayawada their whole lives. We talk about the news or the weather while I work. It is a very relaxed atmosphere. Sometimes I am running behind if a lot of people show up at once, but nobody seems to mind waiting on the bench for a bit. I do not have a fancy booking system. You just walk in and wait your turn. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. I just focus on giving a decent cut.
