New Look Gents Beauty Salon

We opened up New Look Gents Beauty Salon here in Shop No.7 at Chandra Aparts quite a few years back. If you know the Metro Road in Prajashakti Nagar, you’ve probably walked past us while headed towards the Nice Bar signals. It is a simple place with a few chairs and mirrors. We spent a lot of time getting the chairs right so people wouldn't get a backache while sitting through a shave. Most of our days are spent just doing the usual haircuts and trims for guys in the neighborhood. It gets pretty busy on the weekends when everyone wants to look decent for Monday. We don’t have any fancy stuff, just the standard tools and a radio that plays in the background. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but we’re used to it. The shop stays cool enough during the Vijayawada summers, which is what matters to the customers who come in. Most of our regulars just drop in without calling. We know most of them by name and how they like their hair done without them even saying it. It’s just how things work here. We keep the floor swept and the scissors sharp. It isn’t much, but it’s our daily routine. Dealing with the same people every week makes the time go by. We’ve seen kids grow up into teenagers coming in for their first real style. It's just a regular local shop for regular people.
