If you come down to K.K. Street in Vidyardharapuram, you’ll find us at the 4 Pillar Centre, specifically at 11-12-3. It’s a lively spot in Vijayawada, and there’s always something happening right outside our door. Our place is where people come to get their hair done or just to sit for a bit and talk. We have the usual setup—mirrors, chairs that squeak a little when you turn them, and the smell of shampoo and hairspray. It’s not a big corporate salon; it’s more of a local shop where we know most of the people who walk in. We spend all day on our feet, cutting, styling, and sometimes coloring hair. The floor is always covered in snippets of hair that we have to sweep up every few minutes. We have a small TV in the corner that’s usually playing some movie or the news. Sometimes the shop gets really crowded on weekends, and people have to wait their turn on the bench outside.
