You can find Kumars Hair Style at 39-11-4 on Thurla Pati Kutumbharao Street. We are in Labbipet, Vijayawada, which is a pretty busy spot. Our shop is quite close to the Gate Way. It’s not a very big shop, just enough room for a few chairs and a small bench for waiting. We’ve been cutting hair here for many years. The mirrors are a bit old and have some spots on them, but they do the job. We mainly do regular haircuts and sometimes head massages if someone asks. The street outside is always full of people going to the shops nearby. We keep the door open most of the time to let the air in, even if it’s a bit dusty. Usually, it’s just one or two of us working here. We use the basic scissors and trimmers. Nothing too high-tech. Customers usually talk about the local news or cricket while they get their hair trimmed. It’s a comfortable place for the men around Labbipet to come and relax for a bit. We don't charge much because we want the local workers and students to be able to afford it. Every morning we start by cleaning the mirrors and setting out the combs. It’s a routine that hasn't changed much over the years we’ve been here in Vijayawada. We also make sure the water tank is filled up for the hair washing station before we open.
