Sri Sai Vidyashram (Cbse) Senior Secondary School

Sri Sai Vidyashram Senior Secondary School is located right on the Chennai-Bangalore Highway in the Eraiyankadu area of Vellore. Since we are right next to such a major road, there is a constant sound of traffic passing by. We have a large perimeter wall and a big gate to keep the school grounds separate from the highway. The campus itself is quite large with several separate buildings. It’s a long walk from the entrance to the main office if you are on foot. The weather in Vellore can be very hot, so we have plenty of fans in the classrooms and we try to keep the students indoors during the peak sun hours. We have school buses that bring in kids from different parts of the district every morning. The staff room is a simple place where the teachers gather to have tea and discuss the day's lessons. We don't have any flashy signs or corporate branding inside. Everything is very functional and basic. We have a computer lab and a library, but they are just regular rooms with the necessary equipment. Most of our staff are local residents who have been with the school for a few years. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids are doing their work. At the end of the day, the buses line up and the whole place gets very busy for about half an hour. Then it’s quiet again until the next morning.
