Pavitra Madal School

Pavitra Madal School is situated at number 390 in the TNHB Phase 1 area of Tirupattur. This is in the Vellore district. The school is right in the middle of a housing board colony, so we have houses all around us. It makes it feel like a very community-oriented place. We have been running the school here for several years. The building is a bit older now but it serves us well enough. We have a few classrooms and a small office where we keep all our supplies and student records. The morning routine is always the same, with the bell ringing and the kids lining up for their morning assembly in the small open space we have. Tirupattur can get quite dusty, so we are constantly sweeping the floors and wiping down the desks. It feels like a never-ending job sometimes. We have a handful of staff who help out with everything from teaching to keeping the place tidy. We don't have a lot of high-tech stuff; we mostly stick to books and writing things down. It is a humble place and we are just trying to do our jobs the best way we know how. The neighbors are used to the noise of the kids and we try to keep things orderly. It is a basic school for the families living in Phase 1. We just keep going day by day here in Vellore.
