You can find us at No. 9, 4th Main Road in Bharathi Nagar Extension. It’s tucked away in the Gandhi Nagar area of Vellore. Most of us who work here at Mother Teresa Public School have lived in Vellore all our lives. We know how hot it gets in the afternoons. The school building isn't anything modern or flashy. It’s a solid place with classrooms that have heard a lot of lessons over the years. We spend our mornings getting everything ready before the students arrive. There is always something to do, like cleaning the blackboards or moving desks around for a test. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just focus on the daily routine. The bell rings at the same time every day and the noise is something you get used to. Kids playing during lunch break is probably the loudest part of our day. We have a few trees in the yard that give some shade. Sometimes parents come in worried about their kid's grades, and we sit down and talk it through over a glass of water. It’s a simple setup. We try to keep the place organized, but with so many children, there is always a bit of chaos. That is just how a school is. We are just a local school trying to do things right in our neighborhood.
