If you are looking for us, we are up on the first floor of Sidhant Apartment, over at Araji Number 630 in Meerapur Basahi Handmari. It’s a bit of a climb if the stairs are bothering you that day, but that’s where the office is. We spend a lot of time talking to the farmers from around here. Swaraaj Bharti Agro Producer Companylimited is really just a bunch of us trying to organize things so everyone gets a fair shake. Being a producer company means we deal with a lot of different crops and people. It gets loud in the office sometimes when everyone is trying to talk at once about the prices or the latest harvest. We don't have a big shiny lobby or anything. It’s just desks, some chairs, and probably too many files scattered around. Meerapur Basahi is a busy area, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We try to keep things simple. We help out with getting supplies or finding places to sell what the members grow. It’s a lot of back and forth. Sometimes things go smooth and other times there is a delay with the trucks or the paperwork. That is just life in this business. We are just local people doing what we can to keep the farming community here moving forward without too much fuss or extra cost for the families involved.
