Maharauri Agro Producer Company Limited

We have our small office set up right here in Mahadaura at house number 36/A. It is Radhey Shyam Singh’s place, and most folks in the village know where it is once you get past the main post office in Kevar. We started Maharauri Agro Producer Company Limited because people around here were having a hard time getting their crops to the right buyers. Most of us grew up working these fields, so we know how the soil feels and when the rain is actually going to stay. It gets pretty loud sometimes when a few farmers gather around the porch to talk about prices or the latest seeds we are trying out. We don't have a big fancy building or anything like that. It is just a regular house where we keep our registers and meet up. Usually, someone is making tea while we look over the transport schedules for the week. The roads into the village can be a bit dusty in the summer, but it is home. We try to keep things simple and just focus on what the local families need for their land. It isn’t always easy work, and some days we spend more time arguing about the weather than actually getting the paperwork finished. But that is just how it goes when you are working with neighbors and kin in a place like this. We are just trying to get by and help the local growers get a fair shake.
