S. M. Tube Industries

You can find S. M. Tube Industries over at Plot No. 4, 5, and 6 in the Nanji Industrial Estate. It’s a decent-sized space, but between the machines and the stacks of metal, it gets pretty tight in there. We’ve been in the tube business for quite a few years now. The workshop is always noisy with the sound of cutting and shaping, and there’s usually a bit of oil on the floor. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. Our workspace is just a part of the factory where we keep the phone and the order books. We don't believe in using corporate language to describe what we do. We just make tubes. Some of our workers have been with us since the very start, and they know the machines better than anyone. We don't spend any time on social media or marketing. Most of our orders come from other businesses that have been buying from us for a decade or more. It’s hard work, and the summer months get really hot under the tin roof, but we just keep at it. We aren't trying to be the biggest industry player out there. We just want to make sure the products we send out are solid and that our customers are treated fairly. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’re satisfied with just being a reliable part of the local industrial scene.
