Yash Packaging is tucked away in Shed No. A2/2220 in the 3rd Phase. It is a typical industrial setup. We spend our time surrounded by rolls of paper, cardboard, and plastic. The machines hum all day long as we get the packaging ready for various customers. It is a repetitive job, but someone has to do it. We do not have a big office with air conditioning. We just have a small desk tucked in the corner of the shed where the paperwork stays. The floor is usually covered in scraps that we sweep up at the end of the shift. We have seen the 3rd Phase grow a lot since we started. There are more trucks on the road now and it takes longer to get deliveries in. We do not put on a show for anyone. If you visit, you will see us in our work clothes, likely moving crates or checking the printing quality. The ink smell is something you just get used to after a week. We deal with local businesses mostly. They need boxes, and we make them. It is a simple trade. We do not have any awards on the wall. We just have a calendar with delivery dates circled in red ink. It is a bit chaotic during the busy season, but we manage to get things out. We focus on the daily tasks and keeping the machines from jamming. That is enough to keep us busy.
