Scan Engineering

We are located over in the G.I.D.C. Estate in Vapi, specifically in the 40 Sheds Area. If you know the industrial estate at all, you know it’s a massive place with hundreds of different businesses. Scan Engineering occupies Plot 763 and 764. It’s an engineering shop, plain and simple. We’ve got lathes, milling machines, and all the usual tools you’d expect to see in a place like this. The floor is concrete and usually has a few oil spots here and there that never quite go away. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write glossy brochures for us. We just focus on the engineering side of things. Most days are spent looking at blueprints and making sure the parts we produce are within the specs the customer asked for. It can get really hot in the sheds during the summer months, but we just keep the big fans going and get on with the work. We’ve been in this exact spot for years, and we know most of the other shop owners around here. We help each other out with tools or advice when something tricky comes up on a job. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big corporate image or a fancy front office. We just want to do the work and make sure it’s done right the first time. It’s a lot of grease, noise, and metal, but it’s what we know how to do. We keep things moving every day for our clients.
