Evershine Engineering Works

Down at Plot No. 136/3 in the 2nd Phase of GIDC, that’s where you’ll find Evershine Engineering Works. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s mostly trucks and the sound of machines all day long. We started out small and stayed at this plot because it’s where we feel at home. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and there’s always a project half-finished on the bench. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s a working shop, not a museum. We take our time with the things that come across our desks because rushing usually leads to mistakes. Most of the guys here have been with us for a long time, so we don’t need to say much to each other to get things moving. It’s a quiet kind of busy. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we have to wait it out, which is just how it goes sometimes. We don't bother with fancy advertising or anything like that. People find us because they heard from someone else, or they just saw the sign while driving through GIDC. We just keep our heads down and handle the engineering work that comes our way. It’s honest work, and it keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday. If you drop by, you might have to wait a minute while we finish something up. That’s just life at the shop.
