We are based at Plot No. 732 in the 40 Shed Area of Gidc, Vapi. Altec Engineering Pvt. Ltd. isn't some corporate giant with glass walls. We work in a standard industrial shed that gets pretty hot in the Vapi summers. You can usually find us huddled around a piece of equipment trying to figure out a mechanical problem. It’s what we do every day. The shed area is quite crowded, so things can get a bit noisy with all the other workshops nearby. We have our tools laid out, though they aren't always in the right place when we need them. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. Most of our chairs have seen better days. We focus more on the engineering side of things. Vapi is a good place to be for this kind of work because everyone is making something around here. We’ve been operating out of this shed for a while and we’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go. We just keep our heads down and handle the jobs that come our way. Sometimes a project is more complicated than we thought, which means extra hours and a lot of coffee. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the engineering work that needs doing. It’s just a regular bunch of us trying to make a living.
