Our office is down in Umbergaon at Kanadu Fansa, specifically in the Dhodi Pada area. The address is Rs No 118. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from the Valsad district. Vu Valsad Spnf Producer Company Limited is run by a few of us who live right here in the neighborhood. We don't have a big budget for fancy things. Our furniture is old and we keep our files in simple folders. We spend our days coordinating with the different producers in the area. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the phone lines aren't the best, so we just walk over to talk to people. We focus on the actual work of getting things from the farm to the market. We don't have any scripted speeches or polished presentations. If you ask us what we do, we just say we help the producers get organized. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late afternoon. The salt air from the coast sometimes makes things rust a bit, but we just keep painting over it. We are just normal people trying to run a business that makes sense for our community. We don't need any big slogans. The work we do speaks for itself when the trucks get loaded and sent off. We just try to keep things moving steadily and stay out of the way.
