Valsad Jaivik Krushi Producer Company Limited is based out of an apartment on Tithal Road. It’s number 604 in Xitij Aptt. It might seem strange to have a farm company in a building like that, but it works for us. We spend most of our time out in the actual fields around Valsad anyway. The "Jaivik" part is important because we are moving away from the old ways of using too many chemicals. It’s not easy and the yields aren’t always what people expect at first. We talk a lot about soil health and what we can do to keep the land good for our kids. Tithal Road is a nice area, but our hearts are in the dirt. We started this because we saw a need for a local group that actually understands the ground here. It’s just a few of us running the daily stuff. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just want to grow things the right way and make sure the farmers get a fair deal. If you are looking for us, we are usually busy with the paperwork or out visiting someone's plot. Valsad is a good place for this kind of work. The weather usually cooperates, and we have a good group of people involved now. It’s just plain, honest farming. We don't try to make it more complicated than it really is.
