Alben Industries

We are located at Plot 525/2 in the New GIDC area of Gundlav. Alben Industries is pretty much a standard industrial setup. We have a decent amount of space on the plot, which is good because we have some larger machinery that needs room to breathe. The GIDC is always humming with the sound of other factories nearby, and there is usually a truck or two blocking the road somewhere. We started this operation a few years back when we saw a chance to do things our own way. It is mostly production work here. We do not have a fancy front office with a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes to visit, they have to yell over the noise of the machines to get someone’s attention. My brother handles the technical side of things while I try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high on my desk. It is a lot of long hours, and sometimes things break down right when we have a big deadline, but we usually figure out a way to fix it ourselves. We do not spend money on brochures or marketing stuff because we would rather put that into getting better tools for the shop. It is just a practical way to live. We have our lunch together in the small break area we built in the back. It is just a group of regular people trying to make a living. (250 words)
