Ranka Plastics

Ranka Plastics is out in the 2GIDC area, specifically in the 3rd Phase. If you’ve ever been to an industrial estate like this one, you know exactly what it looks like. Lots of grey buildings, trucks, and the constant hum of machinery in the background. Our place is no different. It’s a functional space designed for work, not for looking pretty to outsiders. We spend our days dealing with various plastic materials and the machines that process them. It’s a bit noisy, and it can get quite dusty, but that’s the nature of the trade we are in. We have a small area set aside for our desks, but most of the action happens on the main floor. The 3rd Phase of GIDC is a big place, and it’s easy to get turned around if you don’t know the plot numbers well. We’ve been here long enough that the local delivery drivers know us by name now. There’s a tea stall at the corner where we usually take our breaks. It’s a good spot to catch up on the local gossip or just get away from the noise for ten minutes. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work that needs to be done, and go home. It’s straightforward. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day fixing things, but that’s just part of the job. It keeps us on our toes and the days go by fairly fast.
