Our facility is located on Plot No 808/E in Phase-2 of the GIDC area. If you know this industrial zone, you know it’s mostly just rows of factories and big gates. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. The morning shift starts early, usually before the sun gets too hot, and the gate is always busy with people arriving on bikes. Inside, it feels very industrial. There are pipes, big drums, and the smell of chemicals and ink hangs in the air most of the time. It’s not a quiet place; there is always a forklift moving somewhere or a whistle blowing for a break. We spend a lot of our time checking the gauges and making sure the mixtures are coming out the way they should. The floor is concrete and can get pretty cold in the winter, but in the summer, it’s like an oven in here. We have a small office area where we keep the records, but most of us are out on the floor for the better part of the day. We don’t really do much in the way of decoration. It’s a place for work, plain and simple. We make sure the shipments are labeled correctly and loaded onto the lorries that wait outside in the heat. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks, but it’s what keeps the business going. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the shift ends. It is just the way we like it.
