Being at Plot No.1105 in G.I.D.C. means you get used to the industrial life pretty quickly. Accra Pac has been operating from this spot for quite some time now. It’s an industrial plot, so don't expect a polished corporate lobby when you walk in. Most of the floor space is taken up by the stuff we’re working on. We spend our time managing the daily operations, making sure the machines are running and the schedules are met. The humidity can be tough in this part of the country, especially during the monsoon when the roads around the G.I.D.C. get a bit messy. Our team is small, mostly locals who have been with us for years. We eat lunch together in the small area we cleared out near the back. There’s always a bit of noise from the neighboring units, but we don’t mind it much anymore. It’s the sound of work being done. We handle our own logistics and try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high on our desks. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits; we prefer comfortable clothes that can handle a bit of dust. Life here revolves around the shift timings and the delivery trucks coming in and out. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we’re happy to be part of the local industrial community here. We just focus on getting things packed and sent out without too much fuss or delay.
