Asaram Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Zolegaon. This is in the Vaijapur taluka. We work from the place of Uttam Asaram Rajput at Gut Number 97. We chose the name Asaram Agro to represent our local group. We are just farmers who live around Zolegaon. It is a small village and we all know each other. The company is our way of trying to manage the business side of farming better. Usually, a single farmer doesn't have much power at the market, but as a company, we can do more. Uttam is the one who keeps the office running. It is just a simple room with some files and a phone. We don't have a big staff or a marketing department. We are the ones out in the sun doing the planting and the harvesting. Vaijapur is a decent area for agriculture but it takes a lot of effort. We spend our meetings talking about the price of grain and where we can get the best fertilizer. It is not a glamorous life. We have dirt under our fingernails and we worry about the rain every day. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to keep the farm running and make sure the company stays in good standing. If you want to see us, just come to Gut 97 in Zolegaon.
