Zanak Dance Acedemy

Zanak Dance Acedemy is situated on Gotri Road at 23/B. If you know the area, you know Gotri Road is a fairly well-known stretch, and finding 23/B isn't too hard once you get your bearings. We aren't one of those big franchise schools you see on TV; we’re just a local academy where people come to learn and practice. The building is a bit older, and the stairs might creak a little, but the space inside is where all the action happens. We spend a lot of our time making sure the music is right and the floor is clean for the next group coming in. It’s a lot of physical work, not just dancing but also maintaining the place. On hot days, the fans are always spinning at full speed, and there’s usually a stack of water bottles in the corner. We don’t really go in for fancy decorations or expensive branding. We just have our space on Gotri Road where we show up every day and do what we know. The neighborhood has its own sounds, and sometimes they bleed into our classes, but we just turn the music up a little louder. It’s a real, lived-in place with scuff marks on the walls and a lot of energy during the evening hours when the local kids and adults show up after their day is done. We just keep things moving and enjoy the process of teaching.
