Krishna Dance Academy

Krishna Dance Academy is at B/35 on the Nizampura Anekal Main Road. It’s a spot that’s easy to get to if you’re living around this part of town. The studio isn’t huge, but we make it work for the groups that come in. We have a simple setup with a sound system that’s seen better days but still plays the music loud enough for everyone to hear the rhythm. The floor is just a basic flat surface, and we keep it clean so nobody slips during their routines. We have some fans on the ceiling to move the air around because it gets quite warm when ten or fifteen people are moving at once. Most of our students are local kids or young adults who come by after their work or school is done for the day. We don't have a lot of fancy lights or a stage; it's just a place to practice and learn. Sometimes the front door stays open to let a breeze in, even if it brings in a bit of noise from the main road. We don't really do much advertising; people usually just hear about us from their neighbors or see the sign when they walk past. It’s a relaxed place where we focus on the steps and the timing. We just show up, put the music on, and start the lesson. We remind students to bring their own water because we don't always have enough cups for everyone. It just makes things easier for us when we are closing up.
