Tirth Events

Our office is at 72/73, Ayodhyanagar, right on the Tulsidham Cross Road in Manjalpur. We are tucked behind S S Nagar and the Saibaba Temple. It’s a quiet enough area of Vadodara until the festival season starts. Then, everything changes. We started Tirth Events because we liked being around celebrations. The space we work out of is filled with boxes, old banners, and stacks of chairs. It’s not the neatest place you’ve ever seen. Sometimes the tea boy from around the corner brings us snacks while we're arguing over a floor plan. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just a few of us trying to make sure things get delivered to the right place at the right time. The weather in Manjalpur can get really dusty, so we are always cleaning our equipment. Sometimes customers come by the temple and then stop at our door to ask questions. We just talk to them like neighbors. It is a lot of physical work, lifting heavy things and standing on ladders. My back hurts most evenings, but that is part of the job. We don’t use fancy words to describe what we do. We just set things up and hope the rain stays away. It’s a simple life running a local business in this part of town. Most of our days are spent checking lists and making sure the trucks are loaded properly for the next day.
