Tiles India

Tiles India is situated in the Hare Krishna Complex. We are right on Benki Nawab Street, near Channi Naka. It’s an older part of town with a lot of character. The street can be narrow, so bringing in big trucks with tile shipments is always a bit of a challenge. Our shop is packed with samples from floor to ceiling. We have all kinds of tiles, from basic ceramic to some of the heavier stones used for porches. It’s a family business, and we’ve been at Channi Naka for years. We don't have a shiny website or a social media person. We just have the shop and our reputation with the local builders. People come in, they touch the tiles, they talk about the price, and they decide. We try to be helpful without being pushy. The Hare Krishna Complex is home to a few other shops too, so there is always someone around to talk to during the quiet hours. We close up for a bit in the afternoon when it’s the hottest, then stay open late into the evening. Benki Nawab Street is full of life, with food stalls and people moving about. We like being part of this community. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s just us, the tiles, and the people who need them for their bathrooms or kitchens. We take things one day at a time here and just try to stay busy.
