About Ajanta Tiles – Building & Construction Material in Vadodara
Our place is at Plot No. 112 in the Gidc Estate, which is right across from the GEB sub-station. It is fairly easy to find once you spot the electrical station. We spend our days dealing with tiles and everything that comes along with them. It is heavy, tiring work most of the time, especially when we are moving crates or checking through the different patterns. We usually have a bit of dust on our boots by the time the shift ends. The yard gets really busy when the transport trucks arrive, and there is always a lot of noise coming from the other units nearby. We do not have a marketing team or a polished showroom with bright spotlights. Most people just walk in or give us a call because they saw the sign while they were driving through the industrial estate. Our space feels more like a warehouse than a shop. We try to keep the stacks organized, but tiles take up a lot of room and things can get a bit crowded when a new shipment arrives. It is a local operation, and we have been at this specific spot for a good number of years now. The power station across the road is a helpful landmark for people who get lost trying to find our entrance. We just open up the gates in the morning, do the loading, and go home when the work is done.
