Soor Malhar Classes Of Music

We’ve been here at Tarun Bharat Society for a while now. If you walk down Gotri Road around number 51, you can usually hear someone practicing a scale or a song. It’s not always perfect, but that’s how it goes when people are learning. Our space isn't fancy, just some rooms with instruments and mats on the floor. Most days it’s just us and the students coming in after their school or work finishes. We spend a lot of time tuning things and showing kids where to put their fingers on the strings. The neighborhood is mostly families, so things stay pretty quiet until the evening sessions start up. Sometimes the rain hits the windows pretty hard and we have to play a bit louder to hear ourselves. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. People just come in, find their spot, and get to work on whatever piece they're stuck on. It gets a bit crowded when the next group arrives before the first one leaves, but we manage. There's always music sheets lying around and cases leaning against the walls. It’s just how we do things here at Soor Malhar Classes Of Music. We like the local feel of being right here in the society. It makes it easy for the neighbors to stop by. We just keep the doors open and keep at it every day.
