Shree Jagdamba Marble

If you head over to Nanavat Main Road in Vadodara, right opposite Pushtiprabha Society, you will see the signs for Shree Jagdamba Marble. We have a lot of space there because you need it when you are dealing with large pieces of stone. The yard is usually full of blocks and finished slabs that we have brought in. It is quite a sight when a new shipment arrives and we have to find a place for everything. We spend a lot of time out in the sun, moving things around and showing the stock to people who stop by. The road is usually busy, so there is always some noise from the traffic passing by. Inside our small office area, we keep the logs and the orders. It isn't anything fancy, just a place to get the paperwork done. Most of the real work happens outside with the water and the grinders. We get our hands wet and dirty every single day, but that is just how marble work goes. Being across from the society means we have to be careful about not making too much noise late in the evening. We have been part of this neighborhood for a while now. We just focus on the stone and making sure we have enough variety for whatever someone might be looking for. It is a steady life here on the main road, and we just keep the inventory moving out.
