Sharma Enterprises

Our shop is over at the Hamsa Mehta Mall in Vadodara. It’s right opposite Kamati Baug, which is a nice spot because you see people walking in the park all day. Sharma Enterprises isn't a huge operation. We are just a local business trying to make things work in the mall. Sometimes the mall is quiet on Tuesday mornings, and then it gets really packed on the weekends. We’ve been here for a while now. When you come into the mall, you have to look for us; we aren't hard to find once you know where we are. Most of the time it’s just us handling the day-to-day stuff, checking the stock, and talking to the people who walk in. Vadodara is a good city for this kind of work. It’s not as crazy as Mumbai, but it keeps us on our toes. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. We’ve got shelves full of stuff and we try to keep things organized, though it doesn't always stay that way when things get busy. We know the other shop owners around here too. It’s like a little community inside the mall. If the AC is acting up or the lights flicker, we just deal with it. It’s a regular life. We just want to get through the day and do a decent job for the people who come to see us.
