Shah Marble Industries

We are located inside Shree Narsinhji Estate, which is on Yamuna Mill Road in the Pratapnagar area. Shah Marble Industries isn't a very large operation, but we stay busy with what we have. It’s an older estate, so it has a certain feel to it. We spend our days cutting marble and polishing pieces for whoever walks in. The machines make a lot of noise, and there is always water on the floor to keep the blades cool. It’s just the way marble work goes. We have a lot of different types of stone lying around in the yard. Sometimes people come in with very specific measurements, and we do what we can to match them. It isn't always perfect the first time, so we have to adjust and recut until it fits right. Pratapnagar is a good place for us because people know this part of town for building materials. We don't have a fancy showroom. You just come into the yard, look at the slabs leaning against the walls, and tell us what you need. Most of our tools have seen better days, but they still work fine for the job. We keep the gate open from early morning until the sun goes down. It is a simple life, working with stone and meeting the local contractors who come by. We like being part of the estate and doing things our own way.
