We are located on the 2nd Floor of Sidcup Tower on Race Course Road. Schoti Glass India Pvt Ltd is the name on the door, though most of us just think of it as the place we spend our day. The building is one of the taller ones around here, and being on the second floor gives us a decent view of the street. Race Course Road is usually quite lively, especially during the day. Our office is a mix of desks and some storage for glass samples. Working with glass means we are always mindful of how we handle things. It’s not just about the weight, it's about being precise. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to people about their requirements. It’s a professional enough environment, but we don’t stand on ceremony. There’s usually someone complaining about the elevator or talking about what to have for lunch. We are a small group of people who have worked together for a good while. The tower itself is easy to find if you are in the area. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just come in, handle the glass orders, and try to make sure everything is handled correctly before the day ends. It’s a steady job in a busy part of the city. There is always plenty of paperwork to file and glass to inspect before we can call it a day.
