About Bharat Flour Mill
– Industrial Plant & Machines in Vadodara
Bharat Flour Mill sits right on Naya Road, just across from Vinay Vidhyalay in Bajwada. Being near the school means there is always a lot of noise outside, especially when the kids are coming or going. The Mandvi area is always bustling anyway. Inside the mill, it’s a different kind of noise. It’s the steady thump and whir of the grinders. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. The building is old and shows its age, but the machines are what matter. I spend most of my time checking the stones. If they aren't right, the flour isn't right. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting the heavy sacks and pouring them in. My back usually aches by the end of the day, but that’s part of the trade. We don't have any fancy displays or marketing stuff. Just a wooden table for the bags and the scale. The walls have a few old calendars on them. People from the neighborhood stop in to chat while they wait, mostly about the weather or how the price of wheat is going up again. It’s a simple life. We open up, grind the grain, and close when the sun goes down. Sometimes if it's raining hard, the dampness makes the flour stick, so we have to be careful then. It’s just a regular local shop for regular people who need their flour ground for the week.
