We are located at 720-722 in the GIDC area. If you’ve ever spent time in a GIDC zone, you know exactly what it’s like. It’s all industrial, lots of noise, and the constant sound of machines working all day long. We have a fairly large space here to handle the food processing. It’s a lot of work keeping everything clean and running properly, especially with the dust that comes with being in an industrial estate. Saraf Food has been at this particular spot for quite a while, and the walls definitely show the age of the place. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a reception area with a couch for visitors. It’s just the plant floor and a small office space where we keep the ledgers and do the billing. The shift starts early, usually before the sun is even fully up, because we have a lot of volume to get through before the trucks arrive for the evening pickups. The GIDC roads are always a bit bumpy and full of potholes, but they lead right where we need to be. Most of the staff has been with us for years, so we all know the routine without having to say much to each other. We drink our tea standing up near the loading dock most days. It’s just a practical, hardworking environment where we focus on getting the product out the door. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the building, we just do the work as it comes.
