You can find us at the Santosh Complex on Makarpura Laheripura New Road. This place is all about metal and hard work. At Santosh Steel & Engineering Co, the air usually has that metallic tang to it and you can hear the sound of cutting and welding from the nearby units. Our space is filled with raw materials and various tools scattered across the workbenches. It is not a place for someone who is afraid of getting their hands dirty. The floors are concrete and usually have some oil stains or metal shavings on them. We have been in this complex for many years and know the other shop owners well. It is a community of people who build and fix things. We do not have a fancy office area; our desk is just tucked into a corner where we keep the ledgers and the phone. It gets quite hot in the summer because of the roof and the machinery, but we just keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes down the road. It is a noisy, busy environment where we focus on getting the engineering specs right. People come to us when they need something sturdy made. It is simple, honest industrial work, and we like being right in the middle of the action here. We often share a pot of coffee in the morning before the machines start up.
