Our place is out in Mahavir Colony, right on Bic Road in the Asoj Antop Hill area. It’s number 109. If you come by, you’ll see it’s a lot of heavy stuff. Minerals aren't light. We have piles of things around the yard and the trucks are always coming and going. It’s a dusty business, honestly. My boots are usually covered in it by noon. We’ve been here at this location for a good while. The road gets quite busy with the bigger vehicles, and the noise is just something we’ve learned to ignore. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of suits. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes dealing with the logistics. There’s a lot of weighing and marking down numbers on clipboards. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it’s windy and the dust flies everywhere. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The colony is a decent place, and we know the other people working on this stretch of Bic Road. We don’t do much advertising. People find us because they need what we have in the yard. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We keep the gate open during the day and close up when the sun goes down. It’s a long day, but it’s steady work.
