Shriji Microns

Working at Shriji Microns means getting used to a lot of fine dust. We are located at Plot No. 177 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. The machines here are mostly for grinding and processing materials down to very small sizes. It’s a bit of a specialized thing, but at the end of the day, it's just heavy labor and keeping an eye on the gauges. The bags are stacked high against the walls, and sometimes it feels like the whole place is moving when the big mills are running. We wear masks most of the time because of the particles in the air. It’s not the cleanest environment, but that's just the nature of what we do at Plot 177. Usually, I'm the one who handles the paperwork while the guys manage the loading area. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that, just a small side door for visitors. Most people who come here are truck drivers or regular customers who know exactly where to go. We keep a big water cooler by the door because it gets dry in here. It’s a simple setup. We take the raw stuff, process it, and bag it up. We’ve had some of these machines since we started, and they require a lot of grease and attention to keep them from seizing up. It’s a life, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay on Sundays if orders are piling up.
