Sanskruti House Of Art & Craft

Our shop, Sanskruti House Of Art & Craft, is located at 1 Sharnam Appartment. It is right near Mulji Nagar and just opposite the Ghelani petrol pump in Jyotibanagar Nizampura. It is a ground floor spot which is nice because we don't have to carry heavy boxes up any stairs. The place is often filled with the smell of paint or glue, depending on what we unpacked that morning. We have things stacked pretty high on the shelves because we try to keep a lot of variety for people who like making things. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the main road and the petrol pump, so we are always dusting off the frames and the clay pots. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who actually enjoy looking at art supplies all day. Sometimes the doorbell rings non-stop and other times it is quiet for hours, giving us time to organize the beads and brushes. We have a small table in the back where we sometimes sit and drink tea when there aren't any customers. People usually find us because they saw the sign while getting gas across the street. It is a simple setup and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be a big chain store, just a local place for crafts in Nizampura where things feel a bit more personal and less like a warehouse.
