Sajawat Arts is located over in Sarkhej Village, specifically at 855/D-1 in the Makarpura area. It's a bit of a drive out depending on where you're coming from. We do decorative work and artistic stuff, mostly by hand. The workshop is usually filled with the smell of paint and wood. It can get a bit messy during the busy season when we have a lot of pieces to finish. We don't have a big showroom. Most of our work is just spread out on the tables or leaning against the walls. People from the village know us, and we get some folks coming in from the city too. We started this because we liked making things. It wasn't about making a big company, just having a place to work. The building itself is old, but it keeps the rain out. We have some shelves where we keep our supplies, though they’re usually a bit disorganized. Every day is different. One day we might be working on something small, and the next it's a big project that takes up the whole floor. We just take it as it comes. It's a simple life here in the village. We work when there’s work to do. Sometimes we sit outside for a tea break and watch the traffic go by. That's about it. We just keep at it and make sure the colors are right before anything leaves the shop.
