Richa Marble

Richa Marble is situated out on the Vadodara Anandnagar Road in the Waghodia area. We have been dealing with stones and marble slabs for quite a while now. If you come by 229, you will see a lot of heavy pieces sitting around. It’s heavy work, moving these blocks and cutting them to the sizes people need for their floors or counters. The yard can get pretty dusty because of all the stone cutting, so we usually wear old clothes and just get on with it. We have different colors and patterns depending on what comes in from the trucks. Most of our customers are locals from around Vadodara who are fixing up their houses or building something new. It is a bit of a drive out here but the space allows us to keep a decent amount of stock on hand. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; it's more of a working yard where you can see the actual stone. Sometimes the pieces have natural cracks or veins that make them look unique, which is just how nature works. We spend our days loading and unloading trucks and talking to contractors. It’s a basic business. We just sell marble and try to help people find something that fits their budget and their home. Being on the main road helps people find us easily enough when they are passing through. It’s noisy out here but it is just our life.
