Pravin Godkhindi Flute Classes

We have been running this flute school at B 28 on Padra Road for a while now. Dabholi Main Road is usually busy, so there is always some noise outside, but inside we just focus on the music. It isn't a fancy place with big carpets or anything like that. It is just a simple room where people sit down and try to get the notes right. Pravin Godkhindi Flute Classes started because there was a need for a place where someone could actually learn the instrument without it being too complicated. Some students are kids who just want to try something new, and others are older people who finally have some time for a hobby. We have a few chairs and a lot of flutes around. It gets a bit messy with all the cases and bags on the floor. Most days you will hear the same scales being played over and over until someone gets it. That is just how it goes here. We don't have a big reception desk or people in suits. You just walk in and find a spot. The walls have a few pictures and maybe a bit of dust here and there. It feels like a home because that is basically what it is for us. We spend most of our time here listening to the bamboo sounds. It is a quiet kind of work even when the street outside is loud with traffic.
