The Stone Company

The Stone Company is located on NH-8 in Varnama, right near the Babaria Institute of Technology. Our yard is situated right by the highway, so we get a lot of noise and dust from the passing trucks and cars. We spend most of our time out in the open, moving slabs of stone around and organizing the piles. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and manual work. We have different kinds of stone stacked up everywhere, and we spend a good part of the morning just checking what needs to be moved or loaded. The area is quite busy because of the institute nearby, so there are always people around. We have a small office where we handle the paperwork, but we prefer being outside with the materials. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we usually try to get the heaviest work done early in the day. We aren't a big corporation with lots of departments. It’s just a few of us here keeping the place running and helping people who pull in off the highway to look at what we have in stock. Our boots get worn out pretty fast from walking on the rough ground all day. We just try to keep things simple and make sure the stone is ready when someone comes to pick it up. It’s a basic setup but it works for what we do.
