Padmavati Plastic

Padmavati Plastic is a small place in Ambawadi at A-1. We deal with all sorts of plastic goods. Buckets, tubs, chairs, and crates. You name it. Our shop is packed to the ceiling. Sometimes you have to be careful walking through so you don't knock a stack over. It’s just how we have to store things in this space. Ambawadi is a nice area but space is tight. We’ve been at A-1 for a good number of years now. Most of our customers are locals who need something for their house or their own small shops. We don't do much fancy stuff. It’s all about practical items that people use every day. The plastic comes in all colors, so the shop looks quite bright even though it’s small. We handle all the deliveries ourselves usually. It’s a lot of loading and unloading. Sometimes the sun hits the front of the shop and it gets quite warm inside. We have a small desk where we do the accounts. It’s usually covered in receipts. We aren't a big corporation. It’s just a family business trying to make a living. People know if they need a sturdy bucket, they can come to A-1. We keep it simple. No big promises, just honest goods. That’s how we’ve always done it here in Ambawadi. We try to keep the dust off the chairs, but it’s a losing battle with the door open all day. People don't seem to mind. They just want something that lasts. We've got stuff piled up in every corner of A-1. It’s a busy little spot.
