You can find us over at Plot No. 417-418. Working with alloys means there's a lot of heavy lifting and heat. The furnace area is the heart of the place, and it’s always glowing a bit. We wear thick overalls, which can be a bit much in the summer, but safety is just part of the job. The walls are a bit darkened from the smoke over the years. We produce different types of poly alloys, mostly just following the specs we get from the buyers. It’s a loud place. Between the machines running and the metal hitting the floor, you have to shout to be heard sometimes. We’ve got a small crew, and everyone knows their role. We don't have any fancy titles or a big board of directors. It’s just the owner and the guys on the floor. Most of our day is spent watching the temperatures and making sure the molds are set properly. We have a lot of scrap metal piled in the corner that we sort through every now and then. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the office. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just make alloys and try to do it right. It’s a tough environment, but we’re used to the grit and the noise. We keep going because there's always a new batch to start.
